Funbi – Omalicha ft Lil Mist

24 Sep

Fast-rising R&B singer, Funbi, drops a new joint titled “Omalicha” featuring another up ‘n’ coming act Lil Mist. Nearly a year ago, Funbi debuted with “Superstar” alongside Ice Prince and Loose Kaynon. He then followed it up a week later with “It’s You I See” featuring Loose Kaynon. His 3rd effort came in the form of a video for “Clockwork” and then he was featured on 2-Shotz “DAMN!” track.

Funbi has a very strong voice and great looks that could take him far if he continues to put in quality jobs consistently. “Omalicha” perfectly falls into the “quality job” category. With the right push, this could get him lots of airplay.

New Video: Pastor J – Conqueror

14 Sep

When I hear promising new talent, it’s always very refreshing. Pasor J realname Jimmy Odukoya brings a fresh alternative-hiphop sound to the scene and we featured his 2 singles earlier in the year.

He drops his video for his joint Conqueror and it’s one of the better quality videos this year. Dare I say, one of the most impressive too.

Check on it. You wont regret it.

Jimmy Odukoya aka Pastor J is the Son of Pastor Taiwo and Late Pastor Mrs. Bimbo Odukoya . A Pastor, Singer, Rapper, Dancer, Model Image (Style & Image) Conference Speaker, Poet and Businessman, this Renaissance man does it all.

Growing up in a musically talented family, his love for music and the arts grew continually with age. He found himself participating in theater arts and musicals all through school. Upon finishing his secondary school education, his school retained him and he was employed as an assistant music coordinator. He later moved to America where he earned two degrees in business, A Bachelors of Science in Business Administration and an MBA in Business graduating top of his class.

While in college, He was one of the founders of an image consulting company called MO Consulting providing services in personal shopping and well as image makeovers.

For the longest time, Pastor J has had a passion to see gospel music improve in musical quality, standard and flavour. He realized that there was a general perception that gospel music was substandard when compared to the general music industry.

With a mandate to change this belief as well as present Christ in a way that is understood by this generation, Pastor J got into the studio and his debut album “My Life” was born.. His first two Singles “Show Ya Self” and “Conqueror” are taking the industry by storm enjoying massive reviews from Nigerian entertainment, social, and media circles.
